In 1818 it got a mention in the papers when two footpads were apprehended on the road outside after robbing a local lawyer, they were subsequently executed at Warwick jail. Built as just a bub it has expanded over the years to become the venue to meet all needs that it is today, the site on which it stands is full of great history From the Romans to 60’s soap opera, the current building having once been used to film the long running TV series called The Crossroads Motel.
The pub has a rich history, but today we serve great value food every day all day. Along with our Carvery we also have a great selection of grill meals that are delicious and great value for money.
